Urgent Care Clinic in Hampton Roads

In and Out Express Care is “Simply Better Urgent Care” and serves to bridge the gap between a primary care practice and the hospital emergency room. Our board-certified Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants treat a wide range of urgent care illnesses and injuries. Many of our doctors have extensive emergency room experience and are adept at handling minor emergencies such as broken bones and lacerations, which are some of the most common urgent care needs.

In addition to standard urgent care services, we specialize in non-surgical approaches to sports injuries such as runner’s knee, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, and shin splints. We only recommend surgery as our last choice for treatment. Most injuries will respond to a non-surgical approach.

Come to any one of our four urgent care locations in Hampton Roads for medical treatment for situations that are non-life-threatening. We treat patients as young as two years old. No appointment is ever necessary.

  1. What is Urgent Care?
Urgent Care is for medical needs that do not threaten life, limb, or eyesight. If you are unable to schedule a same-day appointment with your primary care physician, but you need immediate medical attention for a non-life-threatening situation, you should go to an urgent care facility.
  2. What do I do if I need urgent care?
Simply walk in to an urgent care clinic during business hours. We have four locations throughout Hampton Roads. No appointments are necessary at In & Out Express Care. Bring pertinent medical information and your insurance card.
  3. What if I don’t have insurance?
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Urgent care centers are typically less costly than going to the emergency room at a hospital. If you cannot afford full payment at the time of service, we offer patient financing through CareCredit.
  4. When do I need to go to the emergency room?
Emergency conditions are those that threaten life, limb, or eyesight. In those situations, please go to a hospital’s emergency room instead of an urgent care clinic.
